BADGERS DEN

This self-catering lodge, built in 2001 and continuously updated - has a large kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, fan oven, hob, washing machine, radio/CD and large pine table with four chairs. The dining area opens onto a spacious lounge with sofa and two chairs, TV and DVD. For those autumn and spring visits a cosy wood-burning stove will warm a chilly evening and there are also electric wall heaters if needed.

The lodge sleeps up to four people in double and twin bedrooms with wardrobes and chest of drawers. The bathroom is spacious and has a bath with shower over, wash basin, wc, heated towel rail and shaver point.

The view from the cabin is lovely overlooking the hillside and valley with sheep and cattle grazing and buzzards soaring overhead. A small stream borders the land and there is a pretty private garden with picnic table and bench to enjoy the sunshine. An enclosed verandah provides further seating space.

The parking area opposite provides room for two vehicles.
